Central Net Training Center was constructed in 1972 through a joint power agreement with multiple agencies for the operation of a multi-purpose central fire training and communications facility.

Today, the training center is funded and operated through a formal joint powers agreement between the cities of Fountain Valley and Huntington Beach. The joint power agreement created a joint powers authority (JPA) known as Central Net Operations Authority.

Our mission is to provide the highest quality training to enable agencies to perform at their best. We are committed to fostering a culture of continuous improvement and excellence in training.

The training center provides a place for fire suppression and emergency medical services training, promotional testing, academies and graduations.

The training center features:

• A five (5) story burn tower

• Forcible entry props

• Ventilation props

• Auto extrication

• Two-story Residential/Multi-Family conex box

• Drafting pit

• Classrooms

• Conference room
